The Department of Economics and Centre for Research, St. Teresa's College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, organized an orientation session titled "Zero to Chill: Navigating Campus LifeLike a Pro" on 17 July 2026 at the Library AV Room, Arts Block for the first-year IntegratedM.A. Economics students. The programme commenced with a welcome address, after which Dr. Swathy VarmaP.R., Head of the Department of Economics and Centre for Research, presented a gift as atokenof appreciation to the resource person, Ms. Gayathri Unnikrishnan. During the session, theresource person discussed the challenges faced by students while transitioning fromschool to college and shared practical tips for managing stress, overcoming anxiety, buildingself- confidence, and maintaining emotional well-being. She emphasized the importance of self- awareness, positive thinking, healthy friendships, effective communication, and balancingacademics with personal life. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating by asking questions and sharing their experiences. The programme concludedwith a vote of thanks
