Fête de la Musique
The Department of French organized a special celebration of Fête de la Musique on 22nd June in the History Classroom at 2:00 PM. The event aimed to celebrate French culture and the universal language of music.
Students attended the function dressed in the colors of the French flag—blue, white, and red—which added to the festive atmosphere. The program featured a variety of engaging musical activities that encouraged participation and teamwork.
The first activity, Guess the Song, challenged participants to identify songs from short musical clips. This was followed by Find the Lyrics, where students completed missing lyrics from popular songs. The event concluded with a lively game of Musical Chairs, which brought excitement and laughter to everyone present.
The celebration was a great success, with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. It provided an enjoyable opportunity to appreciate music, strengthen friendships, and learn more about French culture. The event was memorable and truly reflected the joyful spirit of Fête de la Musique.
