An interactive and motivational session titled “Le Français Peut Changer Votre Histoire” (French Can Change Your Story) was conducted for the BA French second and third-year students of St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam on Wednesday 17th June 2026. The session aimed to encourage students to view French not only as an academic subject but also as a gateway to diverse opportunities and personal growth.

The session began with discussions on students’ motivations for choosing French, followed by interactive ice-breakers and language-based activities that encouraged communication and participation in French. Students enthusiastically took part in games, creative challenges, and group activities designed to make language learning engaging and enjoyable.

A key highlight of the session was the sharing of inspiring stories of department alumnae who have built successful careers in teaching, academia, corporate organisations, hospitality, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and international opportunities through French. These real-life examples helped students understand the versatility and relevance of their degree.

The session concluded with a reflective “Dream Forward” activity, where students envisioned their future and explored how French could contribute to their aspirations. Overall, the session was highly interactive, inspiring, and well received by the students.
