The Department of Zoology in connection with CUSAT organized a talk on the MSc Bioethics course under Professor N. R. Madhava Menon Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols (ICREP). The session delved into the fundamentals of bioethics, how students of various backgrounds in life sciences such as zoology, botany and more can combine the practical law of the land with their expertise to build promising careers. The class taught the difference between ethics and morality. It also included a short video on bioethics by the National Film Board of Canada, called the “Courage of One’s Conviction”.
