BOOK MARKER MAKING USING WASTE PAPER (For MDC Students)

A total of twenty-four students participated in the session, which was organized with the objective of teaching sustainability and spreading the message of reuse and recycle. The programme was jointly conducted by Assistant Professors Dr. Minnu Joseph and Dr. Remya Krishnan from the Department of Hindi, who ensured the smooth conduct of the activity and provided academic guidance throughout.
The activity focused on making book markers using waste paper, thereby encouraging students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives. Students actively engaged in the creative process, transforming discarded paper into useful and aesthetically pleasing book markers. The exercise not only promoted environmental awareness but also highlighted the importance of resourcefulness and creativity in academic and personal contexts.
