The students of 1st Year B.Com and 1st Year PG organized an alumni meet titled "Smriti 2026" for the former students of department of commerce regular . The event was held in Room No. 11 and was attended by approximately 95 people, including alumni, faculty, and students.

The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song by the 1st Year B.Com students, setting a nostalgic tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome speech by Haleema. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. K.A. Alice, retired HOD of the Department of Commerce, who shared her insights and welcomed the former students back to their alma mater.

A special highlight of the event was the "Alumni Reflection" PPT, which took the audience down memory lane. The occasion was further enlivened by vibrant cultural performances, including dance presentations by the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year B.Com students. A standout moment was the energetic dance performance by the alumni of the 1987 batch, followed by a solo song by Renjini (Alumni) and a group song by Ashnia and Leema .

Several entertaining games were conducted to foster interaction and joy. The event provided a platform for both alumni and teachers to share their heartfelt experiences and cherished memories.

To conclude the formal proceedings, a vote of thanks was proposed by the Chairperson, Milna Martin. The programme ended by 1:30 PM with a lively photo session, capturing the bonds rekindled during the meet. Refreshments, including snacks and juice, were provided to all participants.

Overall, Smriti 2026 was a grand success, successfully bridging the gap between different generations of students and creating lasting memories.
