The Department of Food Processing Technology at St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous) organized an expert session titled “Decode Accounting: Learn the Basics” on 10th February 2026 for final-year UG students as part of the Food Service Management course. The session was handled by Dr. Priya PS and focused on fundamental accounting concepts such as single and double entry systems, journal, ledger, trial balance, profit and loss account, and balance sheet. The programme helped students gain practical knowledge of basic accounting principles relevant to food service management.
