An online session on “Nanotechnology in Food Packaging” was conducted on 7th February 2026, led by Ms. Meghana A T. The session highlighted the applications of nanotechnology in food packaging, including active and intelligent packaging, improved barrier properties, shelf-life extension, and sustainable biodegradable materials. The programme also addressed safety concerns and regulatory challenges associated with nanoparticles, providing students with valuable insights into advanced and sustainable food packaging technologies.
