The NSS Unit 41 of St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, successfully organized the annual thrift sale stall “Sweet Repeats” on 10th and 11th November 2025 as part of the AstA Christmas Sale. The initiative aimed to promote sustainability through the reuse of gently used items while raising funds for the Snehaveed Project, which focuses on constructing a home for a family in need. The stall featured a wide range of donated items including clothing, books, bags, shoes, stationery, crockery, home décor, jewellery, and other reusable materials collected from the college and surrounding communities. NSS volunteers and Sociology students actively managed the collection, organization, and sale of items, ensuring the smooth functioning of the programme and encouraging participation from students, faculty, and visitors. The event successfully combined the values of sustainability, responsible consumption, compassion, and community service, while generating significant support for the Snehaveed Project and reinforcing the spirit of social responsibility among students.
