INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON “FOUNDATIONS OF WOMEN’S HEALTH: ROADMAP TO PREVENTION AND WELLNESS

The International Seminar on Women’s Health: Roadmap to Prevention and Wellness was conducted successfully with informative and engaging sessions focusing on women’s physical, mental, and nutritional well-being. The seminar aimed to create awareness about preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of holistic wellness among women.

The first session was led by Dr. Teresa Joseph, resource person and expert in women’s health and wellness. The session focused on the foundations of women’s health, discussing hormonal balance, menstrual health, menopause, kidney health, stress management, vitamin D deficiency, and preventive healthcare. The speaker also highlighted the impact of lifestyle, work stress, and excessive screen time on women’s physical and mental health while emphasizing the importance of healthy habits and holistic wellness.

The second session was conducted by Ms. Ancy VJ. The session concentrated on healthy diets and nutritional determinants of women’s well-being. Important topics such as balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits, hydration, PCOS, eating disorders, digestive health, inflammation, and the risks of fad diets were discussed. The speaker emphasized mindful eating, proper lifestyle management, and sustainable health practices for long-term wellness.

The seminar concluded with meaningful discussions and valuable insights that encouraged participants to adopt healthier lifestyles and prioritize preventive healthcare for overall well-being.
