The departmental expo set up by the department of Mathematics & Statistics was a key attraction at the Teresian Global Expo.

The stall aimed to showcase the beauty and importance of mathematics in our daily lives.

Objectives:

1. To create awareness about the significance of mathematics in various fields.

2. To demonstrate the practical applications of mathematical concepts.

3. To inspire students to develop an interest in mathematics.

The Maths Stall was designed to be visually appealing and interactive. The stall was divided into different sections, each showcasing a

unique aspect of mathematics.

Exhibits and Activities;

Maths Games: Interactive games, such as solving encrypted codes and math-based puzzles, were available for visitors to play.

Maths in Real Life: Exhibits showcasing the application of mathematics in various fields, such as science, technology,

engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Maths Tricks and Puzzles: Visitors could learn and participate in various math-based tricks and puzzles

Stall of INME ,TROP etc.;Showcasing the activities done till date under INME & TROP

stalls by student entrepreneurs exhibiting handcrafted items and departmental initiative ;Kadalasukathakal which upcycles used

papers into needful items.

Mathematics & Statistics research corners

The Maths Stall attracted a large number of visitors, including students, teachers, and parents. Visitors praised the stall for its

interactive and engaging exhibits, and many expressed a renewed interest in mathematics.

The Maths Stall at the Global Expo was a resounding success. The stall achieved its objectives of creating awareness about the

importance of mathematics, demonstrating its practical applications, and inspiring students to develop an interest in mathematics.
