A placement training session was conducted on 17th July 2025 in the Centenary Hall of the Centenary Block, led by Ms. Anu Gopalakrishnan, Founder of Aptitech Placements and Training. The session, titled “Empower: Aptitude & Placement Focus”, concentrated on various aspectsof placement preparation. Key highlights includedthe importance of practicing aptitude tests, particularly in logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability,to excel in the initial screening rounds. Emphasis was also placed on interview preparation through practicing common questions, coding or technical problems (where relevant), and enhancing communication skills. Ms. Gopalakrishnan further highlighted company expectations, such as problem-solving abilities, teamwork, adaptability, and job-relevant skills. The session also provided insights into placement drive strategies, including resume preparation and the significance of participating in mock interviews. Students were encouraged to practice consistently, developboth technical and soft skills,research companies in advance, and prepare meaningful questions to ask during interviews.
